Art Deco Travertine Rose Marble & Mexican Agate Mantle Clock With Swallows Birds

What I have to offer for your viewing pleasure here is this beautiful antique Art Deco mantle clock! This marble mantle clock has all the classic Art Deco themes from its rose veined marble surround, its travertine base adorned with cut pieces of Mexican agate and black and white alternating piano key pattern onyx to the two fabulous swallows / birds with their rich and deep bronze patina's perched on either end! It is absolutely gorgeous! The birds are likely copper with a well earned aged bronze patina. It is in superb overall condition for its age with a few minor fleabites and a chip to the back of the marble surround, there are no chips to the front and only one minor scratch to the Mexican agate on the front of the base. It appears that someone drilled two hole in the slate face, I have cut a piece of foam, papered and painted it so it blends in better, originally there was only a piece of black electrical tape over the back to hide it. I have added a new quartz movement so it runs perfectly. It stands 9.5" tall measures 20-5/8" long by 3-5/8" deep.
