This is an antique bell from a local estate. It measures 68mm tall. The dome is 62mm in diameter. The figure on top is a woman holding a serpent on her left hand, and a round object at head level in her right hand. The bell weighs 62 grams. The bell has hallmarks on the side. A large stamped “B”, a crown mark, “800”, and “GERMANY”. I would guess it is from the late 19^th century. I can see that at some time the figure has been re-attached to the bell. Inside, there is evidence of some black material, and some solder marks. So while the bell is usable, it does have this damage/repair evidence. This piece looks wonderful.
