Up for sale is an exceptionally rare 1881 Chromolithograph on Original Mount by E. Forbes of St. Julien (owned by O.A. Hickok and R.F. Morrow, San Francisco, CA). Beautiful bay in stable. This is the 2nd of 24 Horses featured in the extremely rare “Celebrated Horses Of America 1881-1882”.

Condition:

Overall good condition given age and scarcity. The included and original matte and backer board have some yellowing, primarily under the front matte where it comes in contact with the backer board. The top matte and the print are attached with hinge tape and could be removed if desired.
