This is quite a rare older Herend figure of a bare-footed peasant girl carrying a sheaf of wheat. It has the mark for either the period 1915-1930 or the 1880's, I can't quite make out the details as it is slightly blurred and not helped by the mark across it indicating that it is a factory 2nd. There is a firing crack on the upper right arm of the girl, as shown in the photographs.

The factory stamp is on the base and there are also some impressed marks, Herend and 5522, as shown in the last photograph.

It is approximately 5" (13 cm) high and in otherwise good, undamaged condition.

Please read the condition description above and study the photographs as the form part of the description.

British buyers please note, I use Royal Mail but am happy to send any items with Hermes if that is preferred.
