CANON FD 85mm f/1.2 'L'

Please, note, this is NOT working lens; this lens needs rear mount glass and it's FD mount need to be repaired; you can purchase new rear glass and conversion kit to EF mount from SIMMOD; this set cost 330 USD; with this mount and new glass, lens should work fine, but we can't of course guarantee it, so we sell it as is, with no guarantee, for parts or repair only

Comes with: 77mm front slip-on cap; rear Canon EF plastic cap; O.D. 80mm SIMMOD matte box front ring

OPTICALLY: EXCELLENT / EXCELLENT+
this description is just for rest of optical elements, as this lens has missing mount glass, that need to be replaced; there's NO deep scratches, deep 'cleaning marks', cracks or any other serious damages on glasses; there's NO fungus, haze, separations or any other serious damages inside optical construction; lens has few MICRO 'cleaning marks' inside optical construction, but this is nothing to worry about, as they are faint ones, not deep ones, not visible without strong LED light; maybe few MICRO marks/spots on glasses coatings, what is normal in old lenses; few MICRO pieces of dust inside optical construction, but nothing to worry about; when we check it with strong LED light, it seems to have very slight fogging inside, but this is hard to say, is it some haze or rather some coating degradation or steam from grease

MECHANICALLY: see description
this description is just for rest of mechanical elements, that can be checked, as this lens has broken FD mount, so it need repair or replace of it to work properly; focus ring works smooth, but just till around 10m on the scale, because it's mount is broken and something block it; with removed FD mount, this lens works till infinity sign; aperture ring works, but do not change values, because of FD mount problem; aperture stops to the end without any problems, when you use manual aperture pusher; aperture blades with no grease on them, clean, close to the end; lens has de-clicked aperture; lens is converted from Canon FD mount to Canon EF mount with high quality mount

VISUALLY: VERY GOOD+ / EXCELLENT-
there are NORMAL to HEAVY signs of use on lens casing, as can be seen on real pictures; lens casing has some scratches and some paint missing on it; lens scale numbers and other writtings are in very good shape, visible; there are NO serious damages on lens casing, like dents or cracks
