Vintage 2002 ROMANTIC FLOWERS CLOCK by Avon

New in Box!

The basics:

Approx 7.5” H x 5” W x 2” D

Base color - Off white to cream.

Quartz clock (rear box says it takes AAA batteries & suggests alkaline.

The description on the box says: “An Avon Exclusive design! As useful as it is delightful to look at, this exquisite timekeeper of porcelain adds a welcome floral accent anywhere you place it. Elegant Roman numerals mark the hours.”

The following is my review of this item:

This clock reminds me of older maybe Victorian era floral art. The markings on the edges look to be hand painted Gold flake. I have several of this clock & each 1 looks a bit different which is a sign that a product had the extra detail of hand painting.

This clock should go with a variety of decor from country farmhouse to early Spring & Easter especially since it has a variety of early season flowers like Tulips & possibly Dahlia’s or Peonies & Roses which bloom year round in many areas. It has other flowers like Lily of the Valley then some I’m unsure of the names.

It has 2 little Blue Butterflies which remind me of the UK & give an English cottage garden vibe. The UK has been working to conserve their Common Blue Butterflies which is a small species as well as conservation of other species. These small Common Blue Butterflies are found in various habitats like parks, woodland rides, grassy meadows, farmland, wetlands, heathland, & of course large gardens.

It’s a very nice clock. It’s smaller size makes it nice for a females rooms since it’s not overpowering. Avon has had some very nice home decor pieces in the last 50 yrs. This piece is also part of the very large Avon estate I am selling that was from a women’s Avon store in Coeur D Alene, ID where I live now. She was 101 when she retired & had sold Avon most of her life. I have a great deal of the home decor items left so if u r looking for anything specific let me know.
