Vintage 1950's/1960's rare and hard to find battery operated tin lithographed Mr. Traffic Policeman tin toy. The bat op tin metal litho toy measures 13 1/2" to 14" tall. It is marked "Police-Man" and on one side of the base "A. 1, Made In Japan". The traffic light, baton, whistle and badge are missing. The toy has been tested and the motor runs strong - the policeman turns on his base with his raised arms moving up and down somewhat to direct traffic. I am not sure what movements he is supposed to have. The motor runs louder at certain times like it is trying to do another action. The colorful lithograph base displays beautifully with great graphics. The toy shows use and storage wear. The battery compartment is clean. The Policeman is a project or parts toy and is sold as is and as pictured with issues noted and with returns not accepted. $14.00 USPS or FedEx postage.
