Ship's Tallys have been used by most Navies in the world being the  ribbon that goes around Sailors' Caps and this Tally is for a Royal Norwegian Navy Vessel.

Hauigesund started life in 1941 being a British Hunt class Escort, Huse the request total button for a combinedMS Beaufort that served in the Royal Navy until 1952 when she was sold to Norway and  renamed KNM Haugesund until she was scrapped in 1965.
