Very handsome World War II piece of carved folk art memorabilia from the Philippines. The desk nameplate reads, Capt. G.B. Eckerson and was presented as a gift to the Captain while serving in the Philippines during the second World War. Was unable to find any information on Capt. Eckerson. It measures 17 x 2 ¾ x 4 ¼ high.
