This listing consists of the two pieces of Midnight Blue Pearl, (Sky Blue Pearl in Ludwig catalogs), drum wrap covering material as removed from an early/mid~60s Gretsch round badge model 4249 14" x 20" bass drum.

The two pieces, large and small, are in the dimensions that Gretsch used when covering a 20" bass drum, 48.75" x 13.75", 15.25" x 13.75" and they are intact other than a couple of chips at the ends of the larger pieces as indicated by arrows in the photos.

The color is fairly consistent around its circumference with a bit of difference in the under-lug sections that I tried to highlight in the pics, and it hasn't gone completely silver as is typical with MBP-wrapped drums of this vintage.
Although some shrinkage is to be expected, it does not seem to have done so to any great degree.

The drum had a factory Jimmy Pratt muffler and 2-bolt rail consolette, and the only non-original holes are a 2" and 4 x 7/32" from a square center tom mounting plate that had been installed at some point.

NOTE: This material is being offered mainly for the purpose of making restorative patches and or bass drum hoop inlay strips for someone interested in matching original 60-year-old vintage material when restoring a drum or kit.
With some creative cutting or splicing it could *possibly* be used to cover or patch a smaller, shallow piccolo or Max Roach style snare shell but NO GUARANTEES are being made to that end.
