Ea. 1800's Georgian/Regency Jewelry Treen Case for Pin or Watch, Inlaid Satin Wood

  • For your consideration is a very fine Georgian / Regency jewelry presentation case
  • Light colored wood (possibly satinwood) with a darker inlay atop in the form of a coat of arms shield
  • Indigo blue velvet interior lining with a ring to keep in place the jewelry presented, perhaps a large brooch or a small pocket watch. The interior of the lid is padded and lined with indigo blue colored silk, which has faded over time  
  • A brass locking clasp with push mechanism for closing
  • Smooth and very stylish 
  • Circa late 18th/early 19th century, English
