Written by Percy Macquoid and Ralph Edwards with a general introduction by H. Avery Tipping.

Volume I (A-Ch) with black and white frontispiece as well as nineteen coloured plates and further black and white illustrations in text. Collated, complete. 

Volume II (Ch-M) with a coloured frontispiece, fourteen coloured plates, and further black and white illustrations in text. Collated, complete. 

Volume III (Mo-Z), with a coloured frontispiece, fourteen coloured plates, and further black and white illustrations in text. Collated, complete. 


CONDITION

In the original publisher's uniform full cloth bindings. Externally sound with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, minor closed tear along head of joints vol I. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
