Antique Griswold #2/ 4 Quart Fruit & Lard Press  Erie P.A. Working Condition.
This antique Griswold Fruit & Lard Press is a rare find, perfect for collectors of primitive kitchen equipment.  Zoom in.. judge for yourself.. cast iron so unless it is left oiled it gathers a surface light rust... just like a cast iron pan.. it washes off easy enough.. never kept it oiled up because that seemed to make it collect dust even worse.. it has never had any repairs done to it.. all intact and still screws down just like it was designed.. and yes many years ago with a house full of family we had great times pressing apples for cider with this..
