Description: Old Ticuna bark cloths are uncommon and rarely come to market. This example was probably created for the decorative market rather than for tribal ceremony. The drawing is both realistic and elegant. The Ticuna are one of the most numerous indigenous tribes in the Amazon, living in Peru, Columbia and Brazil.
