C. 1898. This absolutely incredible mezzotint of Izaak Walton done after the work of E. Inskipp. The original mezzotint was made and pencil signed by Samuel Arlent Edwards.


Samuel A Edwards was a Master engraver. He is best known for his single-print mezzotint engravings in colour. His work displays a meticulous attention to detail, and depth and richness in colour. And can be found in museums around the world.
