1. Floating sealFloating seal consist of two same metal steel rings and two same rubber o rings. The working principle is a pair of metal rings supported by a pair of rubber rings to form a closed space with the cavity.
When running, the after-grinding seal surface of the two metal rings act in close coordination and sliding relatively.
On the one hand, to ensure good operation, on the other hand, to cut off the outside dust, water, rocks, gravel etc., and protect the inside grease or oil from leaking. The product types include DO style, DF style and XY style.
2. Material:
The material of metal ring is usually alloy cast iron and forged steel, hardness is 58-72 HRC. The material of rubber ring is commonly NBR, but we also can provide other rubber materials such as HNBR, silicone, FKM.
