Orville by Gibson J-200 1992 Made by Terada Musical Instruments
The Japanese-made Gibson "Orville by Gibson" (commonly known as By Give) super jumbo "J-200" was produced only for 10 years from 1988 to 1998.
The "King of Flattops" was loved by legends such as Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan.
It is generally said that the J-200 does not make any noise, but even though it is made in Japan and uses the same wood material as the original, it has a better raw sound than the original.
The stroke is just the best, and I think the deep bass, but clear tone with a compressed feel, surpasses the original.
*The following is a catalog quote
The original J-200 was born in 1943. The J-200, which has been at the top of the Gibson acoustic line for half a century, is known for its massive sound and responsiveness, as well as its unique mustache shoe bridge and other luxurious finishes. Orville's proud masterpiece, reproduced as faithfully as possible.
Body Top: Book-matched spruce
Body Back, Body Rim, Neck: Maple
Finger Board: Rosewood Crown Inlay 20f
Bridge Bass: Rosewood inlay
In my personal opinion, although there are some scratches, I think it can be used for playing without any problems. The neck is straight and the rod is a little tight.
There is no preamplifier, but for some reason a jack can be inserted into the end pin.
*The bridge pin is brass in the photo, but it will be returned to the original black plastic and shipped.
The accessory is a hard case.
The items are protected in sturdy packaging and will shipped to you.
