- Turned from light color local wood, most likely Hinoki (Japanese Cedar)
- Stamped at the bottom "Made in Occupied Japan" in a circle
- Circa 1945-1952
- Beautiful and sophisticated mid-century appearance
- This is an unusual piece. While porcelain figurines and all sorts of trinkets of average quality bearing the "Occupied Japan" mark are a common place, such large and well elaborated treen wares are scarce to find

- Measurements: Approx. 11.75" diameter (across) x 4" deep
- Weighs about 1 lb. 12 oz.
