Antique 1900's Adirondack Diminutive Chair w. Heart - for Doll House with Initials or Trader's Sample
- For your consideration is a charming American primitive
- A diminutive Adirondack chair, all hand made with twigs and branches
- Its size suggests a doll or teddy bear house furniture, but it might be also a trader's sample to be shown for ordering a larger size chairs
- Very intricate, with a hearth on the backrest
- Under the arm rest there are letters AY or YA made out of tree branches, a signature of the Folk Art artist or just the initials of the owner or the loved one to whom this one might've been intended for. Perhaps it was a gift for a little girl.
- Circa first half of the 20th century, New England
- All original
- Measurements: Approx. 10" tall x 6.5" x 5.25", the seat is 4.5" tall
- Weighs about 13 oz.
