WW2 field telephone

This vintage 1945 field telephone carries the patt no. 13152 and is marked TELEPHONE MFG Co. Ltd, London 1945.

Included within the original metal box is a Bakelite phone, a cables diagram and a winding unit which still rotates as you see them in the movies, wether you could make a call on it I cannot say and I haven’t tried.

I did put a meter across the terminals as I turned the handle and it showed 12 volts on the meter screen, wether this is correct or not I cannot say but it did register a voltage

Handset shows signs of much use with scratches and scuffs as photos show
