Rare original miniature Anges Welch Chwerokee handmade basket. Signed and dated on the bottom. This basket was part of an exhibition of her baskets held in Asheville,North Carolina in 1989.  This particular basket was a gift to former Asheville,NC Mayor Louis Bissette from Mrs. Welch.

This beauty has in been in my personal collection for many years.
