Gilded bronze ostensorium w relics of St. Matthew, Apostle and Evangelist + document of the Vicar General of Rome

Containing: Relics of Saint Matthew, Apostle and Evangelist  + C. O. A.

A uniquely made ostensorium-reliquary, very heavy. At the four corners there are bronze statues of saints (Evangelist?) At the top is an angel with scripture. Made in Gothic style. Inside, in a glass container-flask, there are 3-4 huge fragments (or whole bones) of St. Matthew. 

Fragments from 2 cm to 6 cm.
