MY GRADING SYSTEM FOR BOOKS

I try to mention loose pages, stains, binding damage, condition of dust jacket and to the book etc. However, sometimes binding glue weakens and when old paperbacks are opened for reading, additional pages may loosen at that time.

VERY FINE: in exceptional condition with tight binding, clean pages, no spine or cover creases, appears unread. No shelf wear or edge wear.

FINE: in exceptional condition with tight binding, clean pages, no spine or cover creases, appears unread. Might still show very light scuffing and light shelf wear or edge wear.

VERY GOOD: Tight binding, clean pages, might still show some scuffs and shelf wear.

GOOD: the average used book or paperback; not heavily read, but may show an accumulation of wear and creases.

ACCEPTABLE: reader's copy: a complete copy, but well-read with worn edges and a greater accumulation of creases and other wear.

Ask questions if you have them. We do offer returns, but really want you to bid ONLY if you want this item, and not to just check it out and return it. Thanks for understanding

RETURNS: MUST BE IN ORIGINAL CONDITION for you to have a refund.

It's hard to know what all to mention or even look for in vintage and antique pieces, as you might be searching for something I never noticed or thought of! Feel free to ask questions too!

We try very hard to point out imperfections, but sometimes you just have to search the photos for yourself. The charm and patina these items have gained over the years and the stories they tell are part of their charm!

Please remember that vintage and antique items are treasure that have been lived with and loved for generations and will show signs of love and use. They may also have minor imperfections from all that love, use and time. Please don't expect these items to be perfect.
