  • For this release, Jordan was inspired by the UNC shorts that Jordan wore under his Bulls shorts in the NBA as a good luck charm. The release is rounded off by the Every Game Stick on the heel.

    Before the Air Jordan 1, the Air-Ship SP was the first shoe worn by Michael Jordan when he entered the NBA in 1984. The silhouette was designed by Bruce Kilgore, who founded the sneaker revolution and the myth of the GOAT two years earlier with the Air Force 1.
