Marine Barracks, Quantico, Virginia -- Marine Colonel E.E. "Swede" Larson, former football mentor of the United States Naval Academy (left), and Angelo Bertelli, famous all-american quarterback from Notre Dame, shown as they met when Bertelli was commissioned a 2d Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. The two Marine officers were photographed after the graduation ceremonies of the officer's candidates' school of which Bertelli was a member. Photo measures 2 x 2.5 inches. Photo Is dated 1944.
