Backgrounds are much more rare than cels or drawings.  There's only one per hundred or several hundred cels/drawings.  And Heman production backgrounds are particularly prized by collectors looking to place them with cels.  We don't often let our backgrounds go, either, so this is a rare opportunity to get a background from He-Man from us.

Filmation was great about marking their art.  So the number after the "MU" on this background represents the episode number.  This is a production number verses an air-order number, so it might be slightly off from the aired episode number.

A painted overlay is part of this background and is stuck to the bottom sheet, which is thicker cardstock - standard animation background.  Measures approximately 10.5" x 13".  The watermarks are not on the artwork - just on the image used to sell the artwork.
