Large Early Taxco Mexican Silver and Amethyst Brooch Floral

Large, heavy Taxco, Mexico Silver floral brooch with 5 bezel set Amethyst cabochons. 

Measures approximately 3" across. 

Marked Taxco on the back. Pre-eagle, (pre 1948). 

Has a secure rollover clasp.  Very good condition with some tarnish.  One of the loops at the end of one leaf is slightly bent.

Heavy and dramatic.  Deep purple color.

Classic early Spratling era piece.
