Presenting a fantastic vintage Australian Studio Pottery cup / beaker expertly handcrafted and signed by the legendary artist Arthur Merric Boyd.
This stylishly shaped beaker is beautifully finished with a vibrant yellow hand brushed glaze to the exterior and a delightful blue to the interior. The gently tapered form fits beautifully in ones hand ensuring this piece is both aesthetically pleasing and a delight to hold and use.
The refined modernist design remains just as appealing today as when it was first produced somewhere between 1940-1960.
SIZE: This piece stands approx 100mms tall and measures 90mms in diameter at the top rim.
CONDITION: This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This beaker has been very well cared for and presents magnificently.
MARKS: This piece is beautifully signed to the base with an inscribed signature "AM Boyd".
