'I was a man' - near two-page feature/interview with 26-year-old German born Erika von Kruger (who was brought to Britain and abandoned with foster parents) who was born neither male or female - here Erika (born 'Otto') talks to Titbits following a recent sex-change operation - b&w photo included.

 'Be Thankful When Hubby's Down At The Local' - one-page report on those who suddenly up and leave home without the slightest warning (includes a b&w shot of disc jockey Stuart Henry who set his 'missing youngsters' bureau on Radio One.

 'Do We Want Elvis Here' - near one-page feature on Elvis Presley who, it is rumoured, is finally planning a visit to Britain after snubbing his British fans for years (it never happened!) - here the magazine tries to give reasons why Elvis has never visited his fans outside of the States - includes a b&w still featuring Elvis from Charro. (Unofficially Elvis did visit England privately in April 1958...this revelation wasn't revealed until 2008).

This week's 'Fashion' page (mainly for the ladies) includes the sub-headlines 'Cut It Out, Girls...And Give The Boys A Thrill', 'What's New' and 'Lording It In Corduroy' - includes b&w shots of models wearing bikinis with 'cut-outs'!..and a male model in a corduroy suit.

  'If You Want To Get Ahead...Stand On It' - 1 1/2 page+ feature on Yoga which, the magazine tells us, can improve everything from bust measurement to sexual appetite! - includes b&w shots of Henry Fonda, Cary Grant & Olivia de Havilland (large) who are convinced that yoga can make them feel and look younger - also includes b&w shots of a model in the 'Cobra', 'Plough' and 'Camel' positions.

'Don't kiss me till you've tickled your feet' - 1/2 page+ feature on sneezing which, apart from spreading diseases, can also injure, ill and stop you making love to your wife.

'So Much To Live Up To...Or Down' - two-page feature on those who are the children of big stars and the pressures that come with it - includes mentions of Frank Sinatra (Snr. & Jnr.) (b&w photo included), Judy Garland & Liza Minnelli (b&w photo included), Charlie & Geraldine Chaplin, Robert & James Mitchum (includes a largish b&w shot of James with Peter Fonda & Senta Berger), Henry, Peter & Jane Fonda, Maureen O'Sullivan & Mia Farrow (includes a b&w shot of Mia), Dean, Deana, Gail & Dino Martin, John & Patrick Wayne, Terry Melcher (son of Doris Day) and 'cover girl' Candice Bergen (daughter of millionaire ventriloquist Edgar Bergen), includes a b&w shot of Candice pictured with Terry at London Airport in October 1968.

This week's 'Disc Time' page includes an article on The Kinks ('The Kinks Are In Good Voice For A Comeback') (b&w photo of the four-some included), plus short reviews of record releases by Len Barry, Family Dogg, Wayne Fontana, John & Anne Ryder, Fivepenny Piece, The Isley Brothers and Blood Sweat and Tears. The column also includes a b&w photo of American five-some the Chambers Brothers.

 'I'm Just Dying For The Love Of You!' - 1 1/2 page+ feature/report on the men who do the daftest things when they fall in love...like writing their beloved's names on trees (and in the sky), or bombarding her with roses and records...trying any trick in fact ...even if it kills him! - large b&w photo included.

 'Can You Trust Your Vicar?' - one-page+ feature on the 'nobodies' who will go to any lengths to be 'somebodies'...calling themselves everything from doctors to policemen and lords to clergymen...trusting these these imposters at face value can cost you money!

 'A Man For All Seasons' - 3/4 page feature/interview with popular Liverpool F.C. manager Bill Shankly who has become a Merseyside legend - includes a b&w shot of Bill pictured in a tracksuit.

This week's 'Terry Downes Talking' column features the headlines '(Billy) Bremner The Great Gets My Vote' and 'Linda's Secret Lessons Shocked Her Dad' ...which features a near half-page feature on London wrestler Tommy ('Tug') Rooks...and his 15-year-old daughter Linda - b&w shot of the pair included.

This week's 'Thriller' story is Dead End by Peter Le Soke - b&w photo included.

Apart from light handling wear and 'age-tanning' to the page edges, this 44-page issue is in very good complete condition with all pages intact and no 'cut-outs'. 

 The magazine measures 12 1/4" x 9 1/4" (310 mm x 235 mm approx.) and will be 'bagged' and posted in a large book mailer.
