This antique Edwardian Titanic era slate blue velvet large pheasant tail feather toque hat dates from 1912. It is made of slate blue gray color velvet fabric trimmed with an array of colorful pheasant feathers and long tail feathers. This fabulous feathered toque hat has a tall, brimless, close fitting style, with a pair of long pheasant tail feathers cascading from one side, a slate blue sheer tulle net covering, protecting the pheasant feathers around the edging and is fully lined in a black cotton fabric sewn inside. The hat measures 4 inches tall, 22 inches inside crown circumference and has 25 inch long pheasant tail feather trim on the side. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a rare and opulent lavish piece of millinery art!
