During the Late 1940's and the Early 1950's, Singer Sent a Few Featherweights to be Sold in Spanish and Portuguese Speaking Markets Primarily in South America
The Very Few Machines That Were Sold or Intended to be Sold there were Marked with the "M.R." Decal to Trademark the Singer Name in Those Foreign Countries 
"M.R." Stands for Marcas Registradas which Translates From Portuguese to "Registered Trademark"

Here's a RARE 1950 Singer Featherweight 221K  M.R. "Marcas Registradas" Sewing Machine 
This Machine is in Very Good Used Condition
All Original Singer Parts
No Restoration
Nothing Broken or Repaired
The Paint Overall is Still Fairly Shiny with Just a Small Amount of Paint Loss on the Machine
It Does Have Some Paint Wear and the Usual Paint Crazing on the Bed
It Also Has a Little Wear on the Decals on the Front Edge of the Bed
No Rust or Corrosion
The Chrome on the Machine is Also in Excellent Condition

 The Machine is Also in Perfect Working Condition
It Runs Very Smoothly and Everything Works as it Should
The Motor Runs Smooth and Strong
A New Featherweight Shop SuperBelt and New Rubber Feet Has Been Installed on the Machine
The Machine Was Sold is Canada and is 110 Volts for Use in Canada and the USA
The Machine Was Commissioned on July 19th, 1950 in Great Britain and Was Machine # 6173 Out of a Batch of 10,000
