Selling my 1966 bulova accutron spaceview 214 its a gorgeous example of the incredible tuning fork movement watch. Fully restored mechanically by a specialist that only restores bulovas and calibrated to run on modern batteries to give many trouble free years of use, nearly all the examples you see for sale haven't been serviced for a long long time. I will also include the genuine Bulova battery tool and a brand new battery in the watch.

Here is what was done to the watch as written by the specialist who who restored the watch a few years ago-

“This timepiece has been fully stripped down, ultrasonically cleaned, the parts examined under microscope (400x~) any faulty/worn were replaced, and then the movement was built back up using the Swiss Made, Moebius range of lubricants recommended by its makers."The windings of the coil were given a generous coating of electronic conformal coating to protect them from any issues of moisture or slight battery leaks--usually death to any electrical item. These watch coils are getting hard to find in working condition so its only good sense to protect them.Phasing (vital adjustments to work right, made during the restoration work) of the indexing linkage was done using my specially modified and voltage stabilised Accutron 700 test-set, and using my own devised methods to run stable with no indexing errors at up to 2.1 Volts, to ensure correct operation even with a new/fresh Silver-Oxide 394 watch battery, whose voltage can be as high as 1.62V, especially if its really fresh from factory and a little warm. This means that any normal modern 387S or 394 Silver-Oxide modern watch battery will work faultlessly in this watch, no need to hunt for special trick batteries, that only last 8-10 months and cost a small fortune!.However--I recommend only 'ENERGIZER' or Maxell make cells are used, as these seldom if ever leak due to their double seal system, unlike those awful swiss-made 'renata' things, the number of leaky ones Ive seen is incredible, Worth a google if you get bored, I'm not the only one who has had issues with them!.....After movement service, it was fitted to its sterilised, cleaned and lightly polished case and the completed timepiece was left to run for a couple of days to settle, and finally set to run to Accutron Standards using a Vibrograf timegrapher."
