Seven C.P. Cavafy items here include: 

The Saturday Review for 22 July 1961. The able author, poet and critic Kimon Friar contributes an essay in review of the Rae Dalven-translated Complete Poems of Cavafy and works by George Seferis and other Greek poets, including Cavafy. .  

The hard to find American Poetry Review, Vol. 4, #3, for 1975. The distinguished Italian poet and critic Eugenio Montale contributes an essay headed "On Char, Brancusi, and Cavafy," translated by another distinguished poet, W.S. Di Piero. A little edge wear to wrappers. See photos #1 & #2.  

Hard to find Times Literary Supplement (London) for 14 October 1977. Prominent English travel writer, soldier and scholar Patrick Leigh Fermor's (two page oversize spread) contributes an essay following the appearance of Edmund Keeley's Cavafy's Alexandria: Study of a Myth in Progress, with a portrait of Cavafy by David Hockney. Mediterranean history was one of Fermor's  specialties.  

The Times Literary Supplement (London) for 24-30 August 1990. Henry Gifford (two full oversize pages) offers an essay headed "Digging in Alexandria." This following the publication of the two volume C.P. Cavafy: The Greek Poems; of The Unissued and 'Repudiated' Poems; and, The Edmund Keeley and Philip Sherrard edited Collected Poems of C.P. Cavafy.  

The New York Review of Books for 29 September 2011. Daniel Mendelsohn contributes (2 and 1/2 full oversize pages) an essay in review of the Peter Jeffrey's edited The Forster-Cavafy Letters: Friends at a Single Angle and of the Jeffrey's edited and annotated Selected Prose Works of C.P. Cavafy

The Times Literary Supplement (London) for 30 May 2014. Frederic Raphael pens the feature essay of the week in this number headed "In English Accents: New Translations of Cavafy: the Gradual Creation of a one-man Greek Anthology." He reviews Daniel Mendelsohn's C.P. Cavafy: The Complete Poems and the George Economou and Stavros Deligiorgis translated Complete Plus: The Poems of C.P. Cavafy. 

The Times Literary Supplement (London) for 6 June 2014. Two letter writers take an overly pious Frederic Raphael to task for blunders (and a nasty tone) in his review of Daniel Mendelsohn's translation of Cavafy's complete poems. See above and photo #4.
