For UK buyers, my postage charge is based on £3.69, the actual cost at the Post Office counter, then 51p to cover a new Jiffy padded envelope, card stiffeners, comic bag and the percentage of the postage taken by Ebay.

Combined postage - For buyers in the UK. I only need to charge you p&p for the first magazine. Any extra purchases will be sent at no additional cost - you only pay for that first magazine.

For overseas buyers, I aim to charge just the basics; the postage cost, the envelope and packaging cost, plus Ebay's surcharge, nothing more. To save money, please consider International Economy (surface mail). It's slower, but in some cases, only about half the cost of Airmail (International Standard).

Please note that this magazine is 88 pages in length, hence the higher overseas postage charges

Here is the Radio Times for 12-18 April 1980. This is the Scotland edition, originally sold for 17p.

The cover features the start of a major radio series, The British Seafarer, looking at the dedicated sailors who have operated around these shores for over 500 years. There's a major preview inside.

Other items of interest include:

  • a two-and-a-half-page feature on Rear Column, a drama looking at life in The Congo in the late nineteenth century. Barry Foster stars, with Clive Francis, Simon Ward and Donald Gee
  • two pages on the new series of One Man and His Dog
  • Man Alive goes to the Firth of Forth to explore the local resistance to a new gas terminal, in the Battle of Braefoot Bay
  • Larry Hagman has been in London doing publicity for Dallas. Miles Chapman reports.

The magazine is in good condition, clean and flat, with no clippings or annotations.

In common with many copies from this era, there's some transfer of ink between colour pages and adjacent pages.

Please note I can only accept the following methods of payment:

uk - Paypal, cheque/postal order

rest of the world - Paypal only please

Payment would be expected within seven days, unless organised in advance.

The magazine will be posted in a new Jiffy Mailmiser/Airkraft padded envelope with card stiffeners.
