This is a lovely old large original good quality wooden shuttle.The piece has steel points at each end.It measures 13 inches in length and is approx. 1.4 inches across and 1 inch in height.It has some markings to one side including GLASGOW.It probably dates to the first half of the 1900s.It is in pretty good original condition with just light wear commensurate with age and use.It has a very good dark colour and patina.
This lovely old large original good quality wooden shuttle would grace any collection or sit very well in any period or contemporary setting.
