You are looking at a very rare Heuer. This watch pre-dates the merger between TAG and Heuer. This is the black faced Heuer 984.013 men's 1000 professional watch. This watch is a true survivor. I am a Tag Heuer collector and I own over 225 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This model is best known for being the all gold watch Leonardo DiCaprio wore in the movie "Wolf of Wall Street". However, this watch was produced before the TAG merger. Heuer made some of these all black PVD 984.013 models, before producing the all gold version under the TAG Heuer name. Hence, this is a very rare watch. This is the men's size Heuer watch with a case size of about 38mm (42mm crown included). The crystal is in excellent condition with some light scratches. The back casing is in good condition with light wear scratches. The clear factory sticker is actually still attached to the back. The bracelet is the black PVD coated stainless steel and gold plated jubilee band. It is in very good condition with light wear scratches, gold wear, and tarnishing. The clasp and surrounding area is in very good condition with light wear scratches & desk rash. The bezel is in excellent condition with fine scratches. The hands and hour markers have darkened over the years. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 7 out of 10 in condition. This is the nicest example of a Heuer 984.013 I have ever seen. Most are beat up, but not this one. The watch is all original and will fit up to a 7.65 inch wrist. Bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. It is quartz movement. I always recommend having the seals tested before wearing in water. I do not guarantee water resistance in a watch of this age. Please see all of my other Tag Heuers for sale.
