One of a number of interesting jigsaws in our current auction.
This one is a Wasgij "Mystery" puzzle No 16 entitled "Birthday Surprise".
The picture is of a birthday celebration with an enormous birthday cake arriving. However the finished puzzle is a scene which moves on from the picture on the box......
The idea behind these puzzles is that the picture on the puzzle is not the same as that on the box. Indeed the actual puzzle shows the consequence of events starting from the initial picture. As a result we have not shown the puzzle made up but just shown glimpses of the finished puzzle. If any potential purchaser would like a copy of the finished puzzle then we would be happy to send them the completed picture.
The jigsaw is COMPLETE and in good condition as is the box, with just a slight dent to one corner. There are remnants of sellotape on the sides of the box.
