LACY VINTAGE FULL SLIP
34-ish bust - see notes below
This is a lovely vintage full slip from the USA. There are no labels but it's very similar to ones I've sold by Wondermaid and Lorraine.
In white, it is made from soft, silky nylon, with lots of pretty matching lace.
The slip is very well made with gathered cups and is bordered at the neckline and across the back with inset scalloped lace. The satin ribbon shoulder straps are adjustable and are correctly anchored below the lace, so as not to pull the delicate fabric. There's an extra lace 'butterfly' at the cleavage.
The body of the slip is soft, silky nylon - it is tailored for a superior fit. The hemline has the same lovely lace with large blooms, patterned infills and a picot-finished scalloped edge. It looks really pretty peeking from beneath your skirt hem....
Size notes: the slip has no size label but is probably a 34. It fits that size bust or a little larger or smaller. The length is 42", with adjustable straps - that's below the knee.
The slip is in excellent condition and has been laundered for freshness. There are a couple of stitches adrift at the top of one side seam but otherwise it looks new!
