For sale is this wonderful 1980s yellow Shetland wool sweater from Benetton.

I purchased this sweater deadstock and removed the tags, so unfortunately, it does not have the tags anymore. However, it is assuredly Benetton, made in Italy from 100% Shetland wool. Can provide proof of purchase on request.

The sweater is beautifully knitted in a lightweight open weave and finished with a lightly brushed texture, providing visual interest and softness. Cut in a rather short length, this would be perfectly paired with high rise trousers. Very high quality, this is akin to something Drake’s would put out today.

This sweater is in excellent condition with no stains or odors. The cuffs and hem ribbing are snug and stretchy, just as new. However, there is a small break in the front hem toward the right side (see last photo). The sweater is otherwise free of any damage.

No tag size, but fits about a size 38, or S-M. I wear shirt size 15 34 and this fits me perfectly. Please see measurements for best fit.
