Believed to have been issued in 1970 by Sports Cards For Collectors (SCFC), Precursor to TCMA

This tough-to-find, postcard size card is one of the first issues by Mike Aronstein's pre-TCMA business, Sports Cards For Collectors (SCFC).

It is one of 32 cards in this set, measures 3-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches and is printed on solid, semi-glossy card stock. It's size will permit mounting in standard 4-pocket collector pages with full card coverage. The card backs display the word "Message" in the upper left with card number and "Sports Cards For Collectors - Box 371, Ossining, N.Y. 10562" dividing the message portion from space for the addressee. Postally unused.

The set of 32 is comprised mainly of star quality and Hall of Fame players with multiples of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig and features several interesting poses.

Condition: Excellent - check the high-resolution scans, front and back. A colored background has been provided to assist in evaluating card corners and edges.

ANY NUMBER of singles (up to and including 8X10 inches in size) will ship for the one single card USPS Ground Advantage rate IF the buyer will request and wait for a combined invoice before paying. eBay standard envelope service is also available within its limitations.

Shipping OPTIONS are available - YOUR CHOICE of either eBay standard envelope service (ESE) which is cheaper with slower delivery or USPS Ground Advantage (more costly for single cards but much faster delivery). We also offer UNLIMITED singles (up to and including 8X10 inches in size) shipped via Ground Advantage for the one card rate. Both services include insurance but USPS Ground Advantage is considerably quicker, with fewer limitations.
