SAD SACK COMICS #5  (HARVEY COMICS 1957).  U.S. ARMY Complimentary series.  From 1957 through 1962, this series was published by HARVEY and distributed at military bases on a complimentary basis. These issues featured all new material, covers by GEORGE BAKER and were the same number of pages as the regular issues.  Advertising pages targeted military personnel (note the back cover ad for "service rings")   NEAR MINT PLUS (9.6) condition.

This is a stunning high-grade copy of this magazine with outstanding color and original gloss. The spine, corners and edges look super-sharp.  There are no spine dimples and the staples tightly bind the cover and all interior pages (centerfold photo provided).  The inside covers show very faint yellowing.  The interior pages look white to off-white.  This one is something special....

Shipping is $5.00 to the United States and will be combined with other purchases.
