This is a great
ANTIQUE
SOLID BRASS
LETTER BOX
with a
DOOR KNOCKER
Circa 1900
The letter box measures approx 2 1/4 inches (60mm) tall, by 7 inches (180mm) wide, and is made from heavy, solid brass throughout.
The letter slot measures approx 1 1/8 inches (30mm) tall, by 4 3/4 inches (124mm) wide
It is made to a beautiful design and is in good, antique condition, with no damage or repairs.
The holes for the fixing bolts (not present) are 5 5/8 inches (143mm) apart, centre to centre.
This is a beautiful, well made example of its type and it would grace any front door.
