RARE Old Thumb Latch Handle Belt & Buckle Screen Attic Door Offset Pull Vintage

product image

A cast iron thumb latch handle that often were put on attic, basement, and various house doors.

  • You will watch and search long and far and wide to find one of these!
  • It is a handle fashioned like a belt and buckle!
  • I’m just sorry that I couldn’t put a whole latch together and make a complete latch
  • The handle and a screw set is included.
  • This would work great as closet or screen door pull.
  • The pull was cast in the late 1800's to the early 1900’s by Reading Hardware Co.
  • The neat logo cast in the back was done by the RHCo
  • There is very little paint left and what is left has a nice rustic charm.
  • The cast iron has some rust from many hands and weathering
  • The offset in the handle gets the pull away from the edge of the door
  • The latch handle is 7 7/8" long
  •  2 1/4 wide with the offset
  • 2 deep.
