This is an  Interesting, UNFRAMED, Original INK Painting by, Australian Listed Artist BERNARD LAWSON, (1909 - 1998).

It is signed Lower right, and was painted in 1979.

It shows a lovely Artwork titled "FEMALE NUDE ON HORSEBACK".

It is a lovely Artwork on quality WHITE Paper. It is in Excellent Condition, but does have a light fold across the paper.

LAWSON, Bernard; (born 1909, Carlton – died 1998 Melbourne) Painter and teacher; Studied at  National Gallery of  Victoria School 1925, George Bell School 1938-40 & 1956-61. Taught at Victorian Artists Society 1965 – 1979. Influenced by Dobell and Nolan and the School of Paris artists from Modogliani to Picasso. Awards include; Mornington Peninsula Art Prize 1967, Dean Prize (VAS) 1970, Cato Prize (VAS) 1971. Exhibited at Hawthorn gallery 1977, private galleries in Melbourne 1977-1989. His work is represented:  National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne University,  USA, Europe and Regional & Private Collections around Australia.

It is in Excellent Condition, on Paper, and measures, 11 inch by 15 inch, (27.9cm x 38.1cm). (Image size).
