- A stunning hand carved stele featuring three figures, Shakyamuni Buddha and two Bodhisattvas, disciples on the path towards Bodhi or Buddhahood
- The image is painted in pink, red, black and white natural pigments
- It comes with a custom made wooden stand for display, which was carved to fit this particular stone. A sticker from a private collection remains
- Circa VII-IX c. AD, Sui (AD 581-618) / Tang (AD 618-907) Dynasty
- Measurements: Approximately the stone only 12" x 12" x 2.25", on the stand it is overall 15" tall x 14" wide x 4.5" deep at the base
- It weighs 22 lbs. the stone only, 25 lbs. together with the stand
- Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. Exceptional deep patination and accretions developed over centuries. All original.
