- For your consideration is a great antique pine chest
- All hand crafted with hinged lid and dovetailed joints
- Beautifully grain painted with nice chestnut color, warm reddish brown
- Blacksmith made wrought iron handles, handle backs and lock escutcheon
- The locking mechanism is intact
- Circa mid 1800's, American, found in New England
- All original, nice compact size
- Measurements: Approx. 28.5" long x 14" wide x 11" high
- Weighs about 15 lbs. 8 oz.
- Condition: Good/Very Good overall. Please see photos. Surface scratches here and there. Slight wear commensurate with age and normal use. One handle loop is missing. No key. All original.
