- For your consideration is a very interesting antique mold
- Finely carved thick hard or fruitwood, all done by hand
- Rectangular shape with eight different square patterns: cherries, a snake, a flower, a fruit basket, a fish, a house, a castle, and a ship; possibly each one a special symbol of good luck
- Most likely used for the traditional Speculaas / Speculatius spicy cookies
- Circa late 19th / early 20th century, possibly Dutch or German, found New England
- A newer hook attached for display
- All original
- Measurements: Approx. 8 1/4" x 3 3/8" x 1/2"
- Weighs about 6 oz.
