- For your consideration is an UNIQUE and EXTREMELY EARLY artifact from the Spanish Colonial period in Mexico
- NUESTRA SENORA de GUADALUPE was associated with a series of five Miraculous Apparitions in December 1531 at Tepeyac Hill in the Northernmost outskirts of Mexico City. She became the Patroness of "New Spain" and later - of Latin America
- All original. A very early Colonial artifact - circa late 16th/early 17th century. Made in Metropolitan Spain for the Colonies or carved in Mexico
- Measurements: Approx. 10.5" tall x 5.25" x 2.25"
- Weighs about 9 oz.
- Condition: Fair/Good overall. Please see photos. All original. Unearthed with subsequent loses, wear and corroded surface. Remains of original paint. Evidence of inactive bugs. The wood has dried and lightened essentially over centuries
