  • Extremely well turned two part boxwood glove powdering flask
  • A removable top part that unscrews with five small holes for the powder, the base also unscrews for filling purposes. 
  • Exceptional lightly colored smooth patina
  • These pots were needed as the gloves were too tight, especially in the Victorian times when long tight fitting gloves were in fashion. They were used in glove shops and at home
  • Circa mid 19th Century, 1850's-1860's, English
  • All original

  • Measurements: Approximately 5" tall x 2.125" widest diameter

  • Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. Great warm patina developed over time. All original.
