DETAILS: Very hard to find original release by Dickson Hall. Hall released this album in 1956 and presents a colorful history of outlaw songs of the American Old West and there darker characters. Outlaws covered include Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Joaquin Murieta, Jesse James, Black Bart, Belle Starr, The Dalton Brothers, Billy The Kid, Johnny Ringo, Doc Holliday, John Wesley Hardin, Sam Bass, The Clantons And McLowrys, and Chief Sitting Bull.His songs are historically accurate. This title has been re-engineered and reissued several times since it's original release. This listing however is for the original first pressing as Hall originally intended with no over dubs or shortening of song lengths. The original vinyl version of this title is rarely appears.
